Wait, has nobody chimed in with “The 20% will become 30% then 50%” yet? Perry apparently peaked at Newt’s answers during the test. He’s got the same optional flat tax idea. But, had it a while back. We had to wait weeks on this?

We had to wait weeks on this?

Maybe because Perry hasn't been running for years like Myth and Cain? Maybe he wants to make sure he has a sound viable plan to put forward, so he doesn't have to tweek it later, unlike Cain?

Was Steve Forbes’ original flat tax proposal optional?

That just seems to weird and weaselly at this time in history.

We have the opportunity — moreso, the critical need — to do something bold. And this just seems so UN-bold.
