IMHO, there's nothing wrong with teaching Marxism & other flavours of socialism. OTOH, what we have here is indoctrination -- even brainwashing. I suspect that the curriculum, and living conditions bear a striking resemblance to "reeducation camps" in such commie paradises as post-war Viet Nam.
