HSUS is a way liberal interest group that has a name that tugs at the hearts of ignorant dupes who send it checks to feel good and superior to we hard heads who deal with facts, instead of emotions.

Sure, horses are noble animals that inspire admiration in most folks but, when there are too many wild ones on the range eating the grass to the roots, it’s time to cull them. If the culled carcasses go to Europe for the French to snack on, so what?

To me, abandonment is the worst kind of animal abuse. People accept responsibility for animals and then utterly abuse them with inadequate care. The cases are numerous and all are pitiful. Usually those people are not punished as I would like. "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal..." (Pv 12:10)

A kind of animal abuse that especially irks me is what takes place in circuses, carnivals, pony rides, and things of that nature. People generally accept these uses of animals but I find that most of the time the animals are abused and mistreated.
