Well I'm glad Governor Perry had the insight to draw from the wealth of knowledge and experience of Steve Forbes this time around.

Yes, I just posted in another thread, Cain used to support the Flat Tax, and Forbes ran on a Flat Tax ticket. When Fair Tax came out, Cain felt it was a better option and became a very outspoken proponent of Fair Tax.

Cain’s plan is a hybrid Flat tax and Fair tax which transitions to the Fair Tax.

Yes, because Forbes was running on the basis of massive tax reform. His whole candidacy was about the Flat Tax.

Unfortunately, for Steve, not enough conservatives saw the need for junking the tax code at that time.

Guess Cain did, though.
