Well, the interesting thing about Cain is that he portrays himself as a Washington outsider. I like Cain, but it’s pretty clear from the record that Cain has had an inside track in DC going back to at least the mid-90’s. The article I linked to goes in to detail, the Forbes connection is just one example.
