SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (AP) — El Salvador's president says he will ask Washington to halt deportations of Salvadorans and extend a program that allows those who are in the U.S. illegally to stay.

It indicates here,The U.S. granted El Salvador temporary protected status in 2001 after earthquakes devastated the nation, o.k. 10 years is more than enough time to overcome the earthquakes and go forward. They should send home the illegals, as this should create jobs and they can rebuild the nation...
