To say Ann Coulter had a political crush on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie might be putting it mildly. So when Christie announced he wasnt running for president, and then endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the natural thing for her to do would have been to push for a Romney-Christie ticket.
Not so fast.
On Thursday nights Hannity, the author of Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America elaborated on her endorsement of Romney last week, but also endorsed Cain for his signature 9-9-9 tax plan.
I am so glad you asked about Herman Cain, Coulter said. I want Romney-Cain. I wouldnt be displeased with Cain at the top of the ticket, though as I said before its risky running someone who hasnt held elected office before.
But I love the 9-9-9 plan and the more people that attack it fellow Republicans in the media the more I love it. Its a fantastic plan. Im encouraging Mitt Romney to choose Herman Cain as his vice-presidential nominee.

But first a new brain.
He did the same thing on the 2nd amendment, claims to support it but then goes on to say that states and cities can regulate guns however they want.
Then the 999 plan has turned into a mishmash of special breaks for any group he happens to be talking to at the time. His campaign is in serious trouble.
Aye, Gingrinch is rippin’ smart, capable in a debate.
IMHO...
Ultimately he is far too much of a politician to stick to any sort of principles.
The only possible way I would begin to think that he was a changed man from the guy who schmoozes and wheels and deals with the left wing is if he publicly admitted it and went off on some tangent of sticking to principle. But IMHO it’s just not who he is.
He’s starting to sound like he gets what the Tea Party and like-minded people are thinking (and what the nation really needs), but I just don’t see how one could really trust that he would not horse-trade away something significant for social conservatives in order to get what’s needed for some economic change, etc.
Well Ann, you can forget about having me fantasies about you.
Republicans like Mitt Romney are the reason the Democrat Socialist Party has acquired so much power and done such damage to this country.
No Romney, no way, no how.
I held my nose and voted for that traitorous turd McCain, knowing all the while who he was. I’m not doing it twice.
It was Fox, Fox Business channel, MSN, and the conservative radio station in Iowa.
Not so sure about crash and burn. But serious problems? Yes! This is what can happen with a political neophyte. No governing or legislative record to judge Cain on. Rhetoric can only carry a candidate so far.
Emotional euphoria remains a big factor with Cain supporters.
“Emotional euphoria remains a big factor with Cain supporters.”
I doubt today that will last.
yep, and she thinks that bring up Cain’s name she willbe back in the conservatives good graces...WRONG
I think the question is, do we have to settle for Cain-Romney just to appease the mods?
Or would Cain-Perry be adequate?
Or...how about Cain - Daniels? I sort of like that to be honest.
(Now before all of you all go ballistic, I’d encourage you to go review and see if you have any previous posts where you suggested that Cain as VP was useless, b/c the VP spot is a bucket of warm spit....can’t have it both ways you know....).
Part of the Woodrow Wilson Big Govt. Ivy League Rule.
Watch em LAUGH constantly after their “serious so important” belief statements. All fakes.
Take away the Big Govt. shakedowns, no more laughs,...and they really get serious shackling more millstones.
She probably has had her orders from the Establishment delivered to her. Like I said, fee of clay. All Anne cares about is her own neck!
Screw that, I want Cain-Gingrich!
I could live with that.
Shes just not gonna let go of the idea that only Ivy League Mafioso are suitable to serve in public office.
Interesting...never thought of it that way ;)
I used to want Cain/Gingrich too. But I woke up. Gingrich is a loose cannon, and entrenched in the Establishment.
I now want Cain/John Bolton.

Ann Coulter “ I want Romney/Cain “ Well ANN- being 50% right is o.k.
You don't have to vote GOP, but acknowledge what you are going to get if you don't.

I'm not saying Romney will be the nominee but 2012 is one of the most important elections in the nation's history. Some of the center-right Supreme Court justices will be old enough that they may have to be replaced. The Supreme Court is what 2012 is all about.
Whoever the nominee is will be a major improvement over hussein, Some may be more major than others but any of the current candidates would be a major improvement over hussein.
All conservatives need to support whoever the eventual nominee is as if is was their dream ticket. To do otherwise will risk hussein replacing center-right supreme Court justices with young, healthy America hating leftist radicals.
I doubt Im alone in this and the GOP will push McCain Jr. on conservatives at their own peril.
I didn't like him one bit but I can only wish we had McCain as president now.
