For Perry, A Rapid Fundraising Rise -- and Fall

Texas governor meeting Friday with Washington insiders after big fundraising dropoff.

By Reid Wilson and Peter Bell

Texas Gov. Rick Perry kicked off his presidential campaign with an aggressive fundraising schedule that quickly made him a front-runner for the Republican nomination. But reports his campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission show that his ability to attract big money fell off steeply in September—perhaps not coincidentally—at the same time a series of rocky debate performances threatened his early front-runner status.

As Perry arrives on Friday in Washington for a private meeting with K Street insiders, the question is whether he can convince the smart money that his campaign is worth an investment.

Wow, if Perry is having sudden money trouble, then Cain has no hope at all, after all: no organization, no big donors, no streams of cash flowing in, he won’t even make it to Iowa, don’t ya know it? ;)

On the Texas campaign trail, gubernatorial candidate Perry told Texas voters over and over again.....if they reelected him governor, he would not run for president.

Yet, AT THE SAME TIME conman Perry was flim-flamming trusting conning Texas voters, Perry’s super-pac raised $55 million——precisely to finance a presidential run.

Perry entered the presidential race with three PACs (that we know of-—could be many many more)-—teeming with millions and millions of dollars to run a prez campaign.

However, he ran into stiff opposition when he slapped down voters who disagree with in-state tuition -—calling them heartless. It’s been all downhill for Perry since then.

BACKSTORY Perry runs the govt of Texas as a personal cash machine. One campign contributor even got his own govt regulatory agency......for a price. Merck took care of Perry after he issued that EO to medicate little girls’ genitals.

When Perry speaks, it’s always safer to ignore him.

CASE IN POINT: Perry says he’s pro-life, anti-gay, insists he’s a “real conservative.” Yet Perry proudly endorsed Rooty Giuliani in 2008. Giuli is radically pro-abort, contributes to PP, was guest speaker at NARAL........When he dumped his wife, Rooty lived with a gay couple, marched in gay parades under the Man-Boy Lovers banner.

Then-Mayor Rooty openly attended official duties with his mistress-—and even wanted to kick his kids out on the street and move the slut into the governor’s mansion.

Ignore what Perry says——watch what he does.

K street insiders will probably give all their insider money to Romney.

But on the other hand... I’m giving my money to Cain !

Really rough trying to start the bidding at 5000. When you are a two dollars type.. LOL, cat whipped perry has set a worlds record for an implosion .

The FEC should rigorously scrutinize Perry’s reports——might be people listed who do not even know they donated to Perry.

It’s amazing how Perry’s fund-raising always places him first——watta coincidence. Especially for a guy who bombed in debates, slapped down potential donors, whose only presidential platform to date is “vote for me, I’m the greatest.”

Must be people dying for Sharia Law courts, in-state tuition, like Perry put in Texas———and open borders and bi-national Mexico/US health insurance like Perry’s supported.

Perry has set a world record for implosion.....

Perry cunningly manipulated the Iowa caucus vote---and did not even enter the contest. He got a pathetic 700-800 write ins while the winners who spent time and money there got 4000 votes.

That ploy was supposed to put Perry over the top. And he did become front-runner----until the debates.

Perry went downhill faster than an Olympic skier. It's one for the political history books, for sure.

Perry is not my guy, to say the least. But I pray he can hang on long enough to destroy Mittens.

“It’s one for the political history books, for sure.”

Whether he’ll be known as the “RMS Ricktannic” or the Rickdenburg is TBD. Either way, he’ll be as forgotten as Barry’s college records.

EXCERPT FROM THE ATLANTIC: Perry arrives on Friday for a private meeting with K Street insiders......the question is whether he can convince the smart money that his campaign is worth an investment.......because of his late entry into the race, Perry has a lot of catching up to do.

If K Streeters belive this cock and bull story from La Raza Rick, they'll believe anything.

Rick actually believes he can snow K Street like he has Texas?

Like K Street does not know Ricky came into the race with three PACS teeming with money----thanks to Rick's running the state like it was his personal cash machine.

Look at the bar graph closely.

Perry is still leading most candidates. They ALL saw a drop-off. Perry's as a percentage is no worse than anyone else. And the gross inflow is much higher than most.

What you people need to look at is the color BLUE in that graph.

That last week of the blue was directly after the Florida Straw poll. It’s been three weeks since then and I’ll bet dollars to donuts that it’s still going up.

I know you don’t like Perry, but I do think that he’s the best shot to make sure we don’t end up signing on to the UN Small Arms Treaty. I like that Perry talked about defunding the UN.
Serious question. What has Cain said about the UN, and the Small Arms Treaty. I know he’s said he’s Pro 2nd Amendment, but when I’ve searched for his UN stance, I haven’t found anything.
