Norm,
remember the French Moroccans who rented a Winnebago in FL for $10,000, and have been driving around. They were arrested after breaking into the Bexar County (San Antonio) Courthouse yesterday.

Well, two are still being held, but not on the high bonds, the DA asked for, and three others who the DA wanted to keep were ordered released. Yesterday, the news reported that two of the muslim tourists were on fbi watch lists. These muslim tourists were not hispanic, btw.

“However, these directives not only prevent the arrest of non criminal aliens but also prevent the identification and arrest of very dangerous criminals, potentially individuals involved in terrorist activities.”

If someone high up in the federal gov’t. had planted terrorists inside the US for some nefarious reason, they certainly wouldn’t want them randomly picked up and deported by ICE personnel just doing their jobs in the field. If the planted terrorists had been previously screened to ensure that they had no prior criminal records, that would certainly make a nice cover criteria for keeping them from being picked up.
