Comical. I once lived in a roach-infested, walk-up slum in a highly ranked NY zip, and I now live in a white-glove doorman building, but my current zip isn’t on the list.

Can we just cut off California and let it become it’s own country or something? I know they’re the world’s fifth largest economy, but we’ll do just fine without them. They’ll probably be fine too, but atleast we won’t have to be associated with them anymore.

/amirite?
//ashamed to be in Californian. Hopefully moving to the wholesome, exciting state of Oklahmoma soon.

An acquaintance who once lived in L.A. told me that people there would deliberately use a swanky zip code not their own on all their address materials and wait 5 to 7 extra days for their mail, just so others would think they lived in the “right “ zip code.

Having lived throughout California all my life (20 in SF) I can absolutely confirm that California deserves all the ridicule, derision and contempt it can possible attract.

Look up stupid, inept and dysfunctional in most dictionaries and you'll find "California Legislature."
