if it was used recently (chimney is clear), have the lanlord drop off some wood. Failing that...Mr. Buddy heaters can be used inside.

Has it been cleaned recently? The last thing you need is a chimney fire, although it would keep you warm for a while. :)

Can’t close the damper. It flaps in the breeze. And it hasn’t been used in 4 years. The last tenants used it to burn trash.
