Actually, I was using “old geezer” (from the article) as a generic term and not to describe this poor man’s situation.
It was a poorly phrased sentence.
Otherwise, I don’t mock victims of crimes, the elderly, children,the truely feeble, or the mentally retarded.
Although, I personally know a fellow, probably in his late 20’s at the time, who was being savagedly beaten. His one one ball was hanging out of its socket. He pulled out his gun and blasted away.. and connected.
