Herman Cain is the most viable and believable candidate to seek the GOP nomination in many a year. He has a record of success in the private sector, notwithstanding the slurs of those who refer to him as a 'pizza delivery boy' and other such sneers, there is absolutely no question that he loves our Country, and he would act in the best interest of America and not be apologizing around the globe like the Marxist ideologue in the White House right now.
Are there questions about his 9-9-9 plan? Of course there are and it is good to fully explore, examine and ventilate it so that when/if it is enacted, it will perform as promised, and if it results in millions more Americans becoming tax PAYERS instead of the recipients of tax CREDITS (while not even working), that is a very good thing. We not only need more jobs, we need more TAXPAYERS instead of leeches on society. 9-9-9 is a solid step in that direction.
Ronald Reagan understood that if the federal government could get out of the way, that the magnificent American industrial base could do what it was meant to do, which is to outperform any and every other economic system on the planet. Reagan was never for 'free trade', he was for FAIR trade which is the critical difference, and my view of Herman Cain is that he shares that same perspective.
Will Herman Cain misspeak and make errors? Of course he will and already has. But as my good FRiend SickOfLibs has pointed out numerous times, he is at least out there in the public arena, promoting his ideas, defending himself and those ideas from the attacks coming from all sides, and he is unafraid to do so. The man has got guts, and as the great American and Marine R. Lee Ermey in his role as Gunny Hartman said in 'Full Metal Jacket' "GUTS IS ENOUGH!"

I talked to another liberal at the gym, one I usually argue with. He said that Republicans will pick Romney and then Obama will beat him(Romney). That is the fourth one to tell me that in the past two weeks.

Cain is out there appearing on every tv show because he has no other means on the ground to run a campaign. Let's hope it works out for him. I think you folks are propping up Romney's VP pick in an act of foolishness.
We'll see who is right.
