By now you have heard the often stated chant that the Occupy Wall Street movement is spontaneous and leaderless. But is it really so? Is it possible that a collection of left wing groups just decided all on their own to enter Manhattan? What are the chances that they would unanimously agree to converge on the only privately owned public space owned by a corporation that had a loan pending with the Obama administration?

Those old enough will remember the 1969 Democratic convention in Chicago “Days of Rage”. This protest was organized by the Weather Underground, lead by Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn. Though billed as a peaceful protest against the Vietnam war Mr. Ayers proudly stated the intent was to”kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents—that‘s where it’s really at.” Fast forward to January 2011 Cairo, Egypt. Besides Google executive Wael Ghanim who took an active part in the revolution and overthrow of Egypt’s government. Our friend Mr. Ayers, Ms. Dohrn and Jodie Evans happened to have boots on the ground. Exactly what their roll in this was as advisor or observer they are not saying. We do know that supporting protests in the US coincidentally called “Day of Rage” had professionally printed signs directed questions to two groups PSLweb and Chicagoanswer. After the lessons learned in Cairo it was the US’s turn once again for a “day of Rage”. Acorn founder Wade Rath and former SEIU chapter president both with some beef against JP Morgan Chase called for “Days of Rage in ten cities around JP Morgan, signaling an anti banking Jihad”. With high hopes a mere 400 protesters showed up at JP Morgans shareholder meeting in May no one in the other 9 cities and petered out. Not deterred by their poor showing and lousy attendance. They analyzed their failure to get others to protest for their cause they realized the Egypt model must be changed. Their thoughts are helpfully posted on Adbusters (Canadian Web site) went as follows “Strategically speaking, there is a very real danger that if we naively put our cards on the table and rally around the "overthrow of capitalism" or some equally outworn utopian slogan, then our Tahrir moment will quickly fizzle into another inconsequential ultra-lefty spectacle soon forgotten. But if we have the cunning to come up with a deceptively simple Trojan Horse demand … something profound, yet so specific and doable that it is impossible for President Obama to ignore…” (Note: Tahrir : Large public square in Cairo, also Islamic political organization whose goal is to unify Islamic state) The first order of business was a name change. They needed to mobilize between e-mails figuring out how to profit from the movement and informing activist groups. Al Gore almost let the cat out of the bag by announcing in early August that we needed an Arab spring in the US. Posters for the rally were completed and posted online at Adbusters new web site (OccupyWallStreet.org) on Aug. 21st. By Sept 10th the lawyers had completed their work and posted legal reviews for the protesters to be guided by. Three days later the lawyers were in place for the protesters and a protest guide was available courtesy of the Ruckus Society. Everything was in place for the protesters to begin on Sept 17th. The rest is biased news controlled by their media wing delivered by their allies and enforced by their lawyers. So now you know the organization that went into the mob that is in Zucutti Park. You know what it took to get them there. You can also see why these worn out 60 hippies couldn’t let their names be connected if it was to be seen as a leaderless protest. I am sure we haven’t heard the last of this crew. Sometime in the future we will be reading about protest over inhuman living conditions at some of the premier retirement homes and the violent “Day of Rage” against the mashed potatoes

I like Glen, a little dramatic sometimes but it is understandable in these times. I haven’t watched his net show maybe I’ll try it for free. All the information contained in the article is out on the net. If real paid reporters did their jobs it would put Glen out of business.
