You are correct about "Dumbing Down" beginning in Kindergarten.
I teach Pre-K. While preparing for a Christmas pageant, I had to teach the children "Joy To The World". I told the children that this was a 200 year old song written by George Frederick Handel. Then I winked and said, "Do you think you can Handle it?"
The children immediately recognized the pun and burst into gales of laughter.
Then they attempted to share the joke with some of the other teachers who just stared at them, uncomprehendingly, as the 4-year olds painstakingly tried to explain the pun.
Maybe I can make a difference?

Oh, and college loans. See post #29 again. There was a "crises". Who created it? Liberal colleges charging a fortune for their (lack of) services (even though they have billions of dollars stashed away for...whatever). Oboma had to come in and "fix" the school loan program with a "new way", because the "old way failed."
Expect college loan bail outs (which means free college for all to make it fair). The government now controls the school loan program!
Socialism/communism will end the manufactured crises once again. The people are crying out for relief - and it's the bankers fault!
