Next time Perry counsels California on how not to go completely tits-up, he will be POTUS and a position to do something about saving California.

You are delusional. Perry is DONE. It is over. He will not be President of the United States. The American people woke up to his liberalism and turned off their support. He is basically a single digit candidate. He doesn’t have support enough to be President. How you can support a single digit candidate is crazy with 74 days left until the primaries start. Where will this support pop up from????? Once your reputation is damaged it is next to impossible to get it back. Even the folks in Texas does rank him number one. That is pathetic that Perry cannot get at least Texas.

Rick Perry also has his own Jeremiah Wright: Robert Jeffries, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, who has made critical remarks toward Mormons (a super solid pro-GOP group that dominate Utah and are influential in several other Western states) and Catholics (25% of the US population and well represented in swing states like Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio).

These voter groups have had a history of persecution by Protestants. The Mormons were hounded out of the United States and migrated to Utah, then under Mexican rule. Catholics, along with Jews, were the primary target of the 1920s Ku Klux Klan in the North and West.

No one can win the White House when you alienate almost 30% of the nation's population. Perry would be best off folding up his tent and returning to Austin.
