"..and if nominated, the least likely to defeat Barack Obama."

IMO, the ideal candidate is one who is the complete opposite of Barry.

Consider; the Republicans have not had good luck trying to beat a liberal by running a "liberal lite" candidate.

Why not try a conservative for a change? What could it hurt? We would lose anyway if we ran Mitt Parry, so let's give it a shot.

"Yet the New Right conservatives cheer the traitorous corporations.."

Please define the "New Right conservatives".

I am not aware of anyone but the globalists cheering the tratorous corporations.

Defense spending has increased 44% since the democrats took over in 2006.

We now spend more than all our potential enemies combined.

One more:

Iraq spends 2.5% of its GDP on defense. We spend 5%.

Maybe Ron Paul is forgetting that the cheapest way to keep peace is to be strong enough that no one wants to have a war with you.

Appeasement Paul is an avid follower of the policies of Nevile Chamberlain. He thinks if we just appease our enemies enough they will leave us alone. Then if that does not work his next option will be just surrender.
