Ba-da-bing!
A sax is way to large to carry on a bus. I drove for 20 years and retired. I had one boy that his mother insisted that he be allowed to carry his sax on the bus. I told her fine but he would have to sit on the front and since I was full with children he would have to hold it in his lap. That lasted about one week.
A large instrument on a crowded bus is just asking for trouble. So easy to hit people in the head with it or knock the shoulder as you go by.
As for as seatbelts....who will make sure the darlings fasten them and who will make sure they stay fastened? You would have to have a bar coming down over the top like they do on roller coasters. And a bus can be completely engulfed in four, that’s right, 4 minutes. Who’s going to make sure the little one can get out? If the bus turns over on it’s top the children would have more injuries from the fall when they unlocked the seatbelt than in a wreck.
This thing is only a foot wide and two-and-a-half tall. Stand it length-wise between his legs and problem solved.
It is by no means 'large'.
