I agree. His use of "brother" struck me as especially strange since Cain had used the race card vs. Perry previously, going after the "rock on the ranch." Perry could have been grovelling, but it seemed unnatural and condescending instead. I must say that Perry comes across as unmistakeably crude and boorish. He is a rough, unmannered fellow --- possibly okay for governing a state --- but way over his head in running for the presidency.
Where is the rarefied air you breathe.
What this does, because you have a lot of African-Americans located in cities like Detroit, disproportionately, it would encourage businesses to stay in business there or to move there. It would encourage people to work there, because if you live in the empowerment zone, youre going to pay a smaller percentage in taxes.
Do Herman Cain's remarks offend you as an American?
Perry would make a fine President though and his ‘boorish’ behavoir doesn’t bother me one bit...but I have lived in Texas for 25 years...lol. We absolutely need someone that will go after Obama and the democrats full throttle. It bothers me more that he is a career politician and doesn’t seem up to a national campaign. I could change my mind though...the primary is a long way off.
