Brother is a term used by christian men to other christian men. Its meaning is very simple we are all gods children and you can address men as brothers and women as sisters. I’m shocked that so few people on this thread don’t know that one.

You know that; I know that; and I have no doubt most of our fellow FReepers know that. The issue is that Perry called Cain and no other male candidate "brother," despite the fact that they're all professed Christians. For my own part, I doubt it's just coincidence.

It was a koinkydink ~ but he did have some personal conversations with Cain ~ and I have no doubt that he explained the Rock to Brother Cain personally. The result is they have a special tie not shared with the other, mostly Yankee crowd.
