You missed my point. She DIDN"T KNOW the character of the man and should not have assumed it was fine. Probably raised by liberals to believe that people are basically good.

Or how about this: if "Leland" is a black man, she might have been afraid to refuse to share a tent with him and risk being thought of as bigoted.

In this circumstance to say this should never happen to people is like saying swimmers shouldn't get bitten by sharks when what she did was like strapping pork chops to her ass and jumping into a shark tank.

it reminds me of the story of a young coed at Michigan

Bill Ayers told she was prejudice unless she slept with a Black Panther

Which she did and still has nightmares from that experience.

Of course no Major Media play on her story.
