Newt is such a liar. How can one simultaneously deny something that he at least supported in the past and then at the same breath, admit he did?
What he should have done is simply admit it, and then say that he was wrong.
That's the reason why inspite of his overall excellent performance in the debates, Newt isn't gaining any traction. People know that he's just an old fashioned politicians who speaks from both side of his mouth.

Romney, the clear frontrunner now
I see. Thanks Politico.

That display was ridiculous, as well as the Mitt/Slick pissing match. This is the best we got?? How depressing.

To be honest with you, I was warming up to Newt until that exchange. Now it is between Cain and Perry. Perry put himself back in contention for my vote with the line about defunding the UN. I hope he follows up on that with a concrete plan.

Romney, the clear frontrunner now, was ready for the attacks. Uh. No.

Arguing the validity of the individual mandate in socialized medicine is like arguing that socialism is an A-OK system as long there are sufficient government rules in place to require individual responsibility.
Real conservatives don't go there.

In the minds of the Libtards maybe, but certainly not in the polls.

Newt's chances of being POTUS have always been ~ 0% so why doesnt he just be honest and explain what his views were and why?
His last big achievement was 1994 and its been downhill after that.

So does this make Newt Mitt’s ‘stalking horse’ of the week? It’s hard for me to keep up. ;-)

I’m not making any excuses for Newt rewriting history, but I would like to point out that no one bests Mitt for this type of dishonesty.

Romney tries to switch the blame to Gingrich. Kinda of like when a child gets caught in the act. What a sideshow.

Newt is a strange bird. He doesn't seem to have core beliefs.
I'd take a college course from him, but I don't want him designing policy.
