Democrats complain cuts to federal employee compensation could hurt recruitment, retention and agency performance.
Obama want's to limit executive pay for contractors.
American Federation of Government Employees union president says cut contractor pay not ours.
Spending Cuts vs Big Goverenment.
WHO WILL WIN!
This is the first time in my life that I have seen big business AND government suffer.
O.B.A.M.A.: One Big Ass Mistake, America.
We'll survive this rotten bastard, but ONLY if we can toss his scrawny, crackhead gay muslim Kenyan ass out of office.
Brilliant move, which will probably be lost on the Bummer crowd. Funny how the OWS protestors have no problem with government getting kings’ ransoms.
Government never suffers except by principled choice. No Democrat would ever propose that, and few Republicans do.
Who bears an uncanny resemblance to the the scrawny Chilean gay drug kingpin Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad
Government WORKERS, now, THEY are suffering.
Gummit workers, how are they suffering? By not having as gross an advantage over private workers as they used to? Suffering that way is a relative thing.
2) Reduce total federal vacation time to three weeks per year, including paid holidays. Allow unpaid leave for up to two weeks per year for vacations, taken as one consecutive term.
3) End all roll overs of sick leave, sick days or comp days. We know federal employees are going to abuse the system, lets not give them any more rope than they already have.
4) Minimum retirement contributions of 7% for all salaried or hourly federal employees that are in any program that supplements or exceeds social security.
5) Phased roll-in of matching salaries for federal employees to the equivalent of an armed forces member. IE: New hires are hired at a private’s salary - leadership positions hire in at a buck lieutenant salary. Specifically forbid military pay (and all federal pay) from rising more than 1.2 percent beyond the cost of living adjustments to the CPI.
6) Starting with next congressional term, all congressmen are compensated at the present salary of a major in the armed forces. Ended are all payments and allotments to cover private housing in the Washington DC area and congressmen are specifically forbidden from moving their families out of their congressional district.
7) Starting with the next senate term, all senators are compensated at the rate of a colonel in the army, specifically forbidden from moving their families outside of their home state, and allotted only the cost of a boarding room in Washington DC to use while the senate is in session.
8) All congresspeople are granted an allotment for roundtrip airfare from their home district or state to Washington DC, including weekend trips home when the House or Senate are in session.
9) All House and Senate office budgets are immediately rolled back to FY 2000 spending levels.
There, just multiplied by five Issa’s budget reduction plan.
“We’ll survive this rotten bastard, but ONLY if we can toss his scrawny, crackhead gay muslim Kenyan ass out of office.”
LOL! Tell me how you really feel! By the way, ditto....
Yes we are suffering, but I am glad to take a cut if congress, especially senators who refuse to reduce their spending take a 10% cut first as a good example to the nation.

No one will win.
Tell us what you REALLY think, Laz!
;-)
OBTW I agree with you 110%
We The People Demand this change....spread the word “This is bipartisan in nature and is going to both Democrats and Republicans. We should all seriously consider helping with the change suggested below. This is something I support and I hope you will too. This is short so please read it all the way through and then forward at your discretion.
The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.
I’m asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. See #3 below.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

10) Set term limits at 12 years, period. No returns allowed.
11) Provide for recalls of ALL elected officials.
Bingo. Where is my pen....... (John Hancock)
These suggestions should be sent to Cain and let him read a few at the next debate as a few of his suggestions he’ll implement. It surely will make voters sit up and listen while the establishment groans.
“WHO WILL WIN”
How about WE THE PEOPLE for ONCE.
......how about cutting ALL OF THE ABOVE.
