I can’t believe we are having an entire debate apparently designed to tear down the only gOP plan that has been proposed and gained traction in decades as far as major tax reofrm is concerned — and it is being attacked by ignoramuses who are clueless about how it operates.
Hopefully, this will just tick people off and make them go to the plan with the plan in even greater numbers.

I think Anderson Vanderbilt Cooper is deliberately trying to hurt everyone with the way he phrases his questions.
I like Herman Cain’s 999 plan a lot, but at the end of the day he himself needs to be able to articulate it and defend attacks. Unfortunately I don’t think he did such a great job defending it from charges such as there is a VAT in it (there isn’t - taxing corporate profits is not a VAT it is the same thing we do now) and he hasn’t done a good job explaining how it benefits the economy and working poor.
I hope I understand it as well as I think I do.
