And that’s why I think Cain tried with the Netanyahu thing so hard. He saw it only as a “If I was president, this is what I would do...” opportunity to answer and jumped in.

He supports Israel.
He supports Netanyahu.
He doesn’t have access to the facts that Netanyahu did, so he’s trying to give the entire issue a kind of “benefit of the doubt” by saying if he was president faced with that kind of decision he would need all of the facts, information, opinions before making a decision... because he knows that is what Netanyahu did.

And then, it doesn’t come off well, because it is still a terrorist swap. That’s a problem.

Do we even know WHY Netanyahu did it, yet? I haven’t heard the reasoning. It’s still muddied, for me.

That's the problem with a guy like Cain, he does not have the discipline to avoid saying dumb things - lately on a daily basis. He has not honed the political skills yet to win elections, which is why it would have been better if he had run and won a few races on a local/state level first before shooting for the presidency.

The problem is not just with what he SAYS but what he believes. What are his convictions and core beliefs in relation to national security and foreign policy? I don't believe these subjects have ever seriously crossed his mind, and I don't think he can be made to care. He is a mathematician and a pizza executive. That is all. I don't want him near the presidency of the United States.

It is VERY muddled,indeed!

America isn't Israel and no, AFAIK, no details of why Netanyahu did this, which I don't see as a "good thing".

Cain pulls this stuff ( answering weird or even good questions, which he knows NOTHING at all about ) constantly and all it does is make him look like an uninformed idiot. Sorry, but it does! remember when he didn't have even a glimmer of an idea about RIGHT OF RETURN, when it had been in the news, constantly, for over a week? HOW DID HE NOT KNOW WHAT THAT TERM MEANS; WHEN IT HAS BEEN OUT THERE FOR DECADES ?

I keep saying that I do believe that he is a good man, but I don't want someone as my president who doesn't know at least as much as I do, about current events and history.
