What is wrong today is that ONLY HALF the people escape the federal income tax when 98% should rightly escape it.

Anyone who thinks that only the top 1-2% of Americans should pay taxes is a class warfare idiot that would fit in nicely with the Occupy Whatever crowd.

Fine, you take that up with William H. Taft. He had a Congress that was fully in the control of the Republican Party. The 16th amendment authorizing a federal income tax was passed by Congress on July 2, 1909, and ratified February 3, 1913.

I said anyone who talks like you do about the income tax is just TOTALLY IGNANT of taxation in this country.

Try studying up on this stuff before opening your piehole.

BTW, the people in Occupy are probably as IGNANT although that would be difficult.
