It is amazing why Romney is still obsessed attacking Perry even with lies such as this ad, when according to the polls, most pundits, and many others Perry campaign is finished. Why does not Romney attack Cain the front runner and his main rival? Also why does not Cain attack Romney? Very interesting indeed but many of us know the answer to these questions.

why does not Cain attack Romney?

Herman Cain today:

"The biggest problem I have with Governor Romney, who I respect, is him trying to say that he is the non-politician, business candidate," Cain said. "I am the true non-politician, business candidate in this race. He was a Wall Street executive. I was a main street executive. Because I dealt with individual businesses."

When asked if Romney was a Christian, Cain refused to answer, saying he was focusing instead on his opponent's platform.

"I want to basically defeat Mitt Romney based upon the strength of my ideas versus his," Cain said. "I think I've got a strong plan relative to his, as well as strong ideas about the other issues we face."

Good enough for me. Of course, if you mean by "attack" that Cain should insult him personally (and I suspect you might), it won't happen -- and shouldn't.

None of this Texas jobs record stuff matters for squat. Perry helped create those jobs while serving as a politician instead of an outsider, where he could have been making pizza. Politicians are bad people. Pizza people are perfect because they say the right things and this is good. He's also not as funny as Cain, and has weird facial expressions. Please send your immigration questions to CNN tonight so we can hate him more this week than we did last week. And the week before that. Thank you.

It's not amazing - Romney is never going to pick up Cain, Bachmann, or Santorum supporters and donors. Never. Money spent going after those folks is wasted money.

Plus, Perry is the only one who can mount a serious advertising campaign against Romney on a national scale at this point in time. Cain maybe getting more airtime than Perry and Romney by going on all of those talkshows, morning shows, radio shows, etc., but Cain isn't going to be spending millions on nation-wide advertising going after anybody. Perry and Romney are the only two that can, and it looks like Romney has blinked and is going to go after Perry again. Perry is going to have to respond in kind or risk looking weak.
