Hmm Perry was "fighting them" in 1993? The same year he was campaign on behalf of the Clinton Health Care bill? That is "Fighting them"?

In 1993, Perry, while serving as Texas agriculture commissioner, expressed support for the Clinton health care reform proposal, describing it as "most commendable." The health care plan was ultimately unsuccessful due to Republican congressional opposition.[23][24][25][26][27] In 2005, after being questioned on the issue by a potential opponent in the Republican governor primary, Perry said that he expressed his support only in order to get Clinton to pay more attention to rural health care.[28]

Yeah, you really should get your facts straight before you spout out on a subject about which clearly you know nothing except what you read on some other candidates propaganda page. Have you even read the letter?

If you can't discern the difference between paying someone a compliment--1 sentence at the beginning of a letter and 1 at the conclusion of a 4 paragraph letter--in order to request a favor and "campaigning on behalf of the Clinton Health Care bill," then you are either incapable of critical thinking, or you are being intellectually dishonest. I suspect it is the latter.

Lying is unbecoming, especially when someone claiming to be a conservative does it. It is a certain sign that you are incapable of defending your own candidate except by making unfounded accusations against his opponents.
