I didn't want to come off wrong CL but I hate identity politics. I think Cain in his hear is a Conservative man on issues of life and probably business but I don't like, I hate affirmative action and government picking the winners and losers.

I’m completely with you. Empowerment zones are a classic example of what I DO NOT want to see the government doing. I understand they need to collect taxes to exist and provide services (like military protection from external enemies). That’s fine. But when the government starts tweaking taxes to intentionally modify people’s behavior, I part company with them. It’s one reason I’m against the mortgage interest deduction.

I liked Cain, but a little icy thing entered my heart when Cain attacked Perry on the Washington Post bogus rock story.

It scared me. Not just because I like Perry and not just because it was so unfair, but because I thought it revealed something about Mr. Cain.

I’m really afraid he would end up with an agenda we don’t need in this country. I hope he loses the nomination.

He’s the hot ticket right now, but the country ‘voted cute’ last time and I hope the Republicans don’t vote cute in getting a nominee.
