David Dutcher met Sharon on Match.com in late 2008, a few months after separating from his wife. "We had a lot in common," he recalled. Sharon loved four-wheel-drive trucks and sports.
They met for coffee, then dinner. Sharon was tall, slender, blond and beautiful. She moaned that she had not had sex in a long time. She told him he had large, strong hands and wondered if that portended other things. She described his kisses as "yummy."
"It felt a lot like Christmas," said Dutcher, 49, a tall, burly engineer with wavy red hair.

I know Dave, and he doesn’t have particularly large hands.

That is true of both our current sheriff, and his predecessor. You have to go all the way back to Sheriff Young in the 50s to find a good one.
I thought it was disgusting that no charges are contemplated against the female conspirators.

i’m not a lawyer, but
how can they NOT be considered at least accessories to the crime?
it was a premeditated conspiracy, with the intent that a crime be committed, which they knew about from the beginning.
the wife hired them, with the INTENT that a crime be committed.
(and, a crime -drink driving- that they know could potentially hurt or kill an innocent person!)
Very disconcerting stuff. Sorry to hear that. Wish and pray there were/will be more made in Joe’s cloth.
You didn’t even hide an attorney? That was recommended?
Sometimes auto correct sucks.
hide = hire.
Thanks for the ping. I live in Contra Costa County and I guess I missed that local news story. The police will probably blame budget cuts as the reason they had to make side money.
