Last night Brit Hume was commenting on Herman Cain and the take away I got is that Herman Cain isn’t running to be elected. He has no infrastructure and he remains on his book tour. It will take money and organization to target key states and get voters to the polls.
Cain knows he can’t last through the campaign - he is running to increase his value for selling books and making speeches - that, and he would happily love to be Romney’s vice president. He is not a serious candidate - and I hate seeing all of these FReepers get seriously invested in him...just like they did with Palin.
The RED MEAT crowds/CRAZIES who are now following Cain the TALKER are not to be underestimated. These fools vote and the more red meat Cain throws the more they are encouraged to vote. They are around 30% of the Republican base and they can give the nomination to Cain the TALKER.
