When the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers kick off the World Series on Oct. 19 at Busch Stadium, Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will be there.
The pair, who also attended Game One of the World Series between the Yankees and the Phillies in 2009, will help salute veterans and their families as part of their Joining Forces initiative and Major League Baseball’s Welcome Back Veterans program, the White House announced.
A military families appreciation event hosted by the first and second ladies, MLB reps, the Cardinals and Hall of Famer and Army vet Red Schoendienst will be held at the St. Louis Veterans Center before the game.
FLOTUS worked with MLB last year at Camden Yards in Baltimore for a “Let’s Move!” baseball clinic.

I heard she got seats right behind the home plate. After realizing that they are forcing the the park to rotate the infield so that the pitcher won’t be throwing directly at her.
