Not only is Wayne slow, but he comes out with this on NEWSMAX. If Wayne was positioning the largest gun owner group in the country properly his 4 million members would have seen this on the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal.

Such small thinkers sometime.

Wayne has known this for a long time. I learned about it from the NRA. What puzzles me is that he has not publicly stated this fact earlier.

In the defense of Wayne LaPierre, he's been reporting on the BATFE Project Gunrunner and Fast and Furious going back to at least February 2011, and consistanly since then. Check out the Standing Guard article titled "BATFE Set Sights On Wrong Target" in the February 2011 edition of the American Rifleman, page 12. You may not have heard him publicly, but he's been out there preaching to anyone who will listen. Unfortunately in this administration, that would be equivalent to talking to the wall. But in the public domain, we're listening. Come November 2012, we'll make our case.
