I see them on Ebay but the price is usually over a hundred. AM and I got ours for $89 IIRC. Going to pick up a micro SD card for it today. I've been putting apps in like crazy, LOL!
The other device is a Chumby. Still by the bed and working great as well but I'm using the Edge to listen to Pandora and Quinn and Rose.

So yesterday, I was reading FR at work. Dear Leader was at the Martin Luther King Memorial Dedication. Ok...expected. The usual suspects from the CBC and the Revrund Jackson show. And what struck me as the most telling moment...well it was what was buried in the time capsule. I kid not...autographed copies of Barry’s convention speech and (as Rush would say) Immaculation. Signed copies. By BHO. As the most historical items of note of....blah, blah, blah.
The iPad versions of same are reserved for Sovereigns.
BTW Woot often repeats sales until the stock runs out. Could very well be they might run it again in the next few weeks. I’ll let you know if I see it. It will probably be around $60 if they do.

I thought of you techno guys while @WalMart this weekend. Our only computer, an overheating laptop (we are on second replacement already) has to be replaced (we are looking @a 4g Acer) but they had 2g notebooks for $228.00. Outta of my price range now, but not crazy expensive, and I am thinking they will come down (Black Friday).

Morning all! thought of you all - FONDLY OF COURSE = this past weekend when I posted a FB album potpourri of pix re: FR activities. THe ones of the Boot Murtha rally were fun to go through again. I started with 0ver 3000 pix & had to whittle down to the 200 FB limit, so each event just had a few pix.

We've been trying to put some money away but so far the stash isn't much...sigh.
Prices probably will come down on laptops. Have you checked out places like TxMicro for decent priced - usually under a hundred bucks - desktops?
Desktops like the one I have at home are pretty good and reliable, unless you tinker with them like I do.:)
Mine is an IBM mini tower thinkcentre that came with 3.2 ghz dual core CPU, 2GB ram and 40GB HD and XP installed. All for less than a hundred. I installed a 500 GB SATA drive and a better video card I had in my parts bin and it is GREAT! No monitor came with it of course so that's an extra cost.
Or go to Pricewatch.com and look around. They aren't as good as they used to be but sometimes you can find a deal.
