A Breitbart.tv investigation has uncovered that the man whose epic meltdown video at the "Occupy Wall Street" protests went viral is really Edward T. Hall III. Mr. Hall is a Columbia graduate student who has a trust fund set up by his grandfather. He recently made headlines for trying to board a flight at JFK airport by hopping the ticket counter and diving onto the baggage carousel. He was charged with trespassing and is free on "conditional release."

He’s talking about the trend in psychology of predicting human behavior, evidently with the goal of controlling it.
“Not joking. He is schizophrenic”
More like substance abuse...lots of substance abuse!

Well, okay.
Notice you hardly see any blacks at all down at Wall Street. Most are little rich kid a holes down there.
“He’s saying he does absolutely nothing but saying it in a confusing manner so it sounds like he does do something.”
Sounds just like Obama!!! Most liberals have learned the “art” of saying nothing in a convoluted way by stringing nearly random words together. Unfortunately they are often successful in fooling the poorly educated/indoctrinated souls who have not learned logic.
In his speeches Obama goes on and on and when it’s over one can honestly say that he said nothing of concrete value - other libs such as this one are copying this method of (non)communication.
“I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting. “
Dear Lord, above is what this nothing-burger wants to do. What the heck does it mean?
He cusses at people as they enter a WalMart?
“I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions. I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting. I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving.”

You don’t call that paragraph the result of “serious study”? It think he has studied so seriously that he is educated FAR beyond his intelligence. Oh his own in the real world he would last about fifteen minutes.
By the way do you have any idea what this “excessive discounting” is about? I don’t know whether I should be about the task of moderating some of that...whatever in blazes it might be.
egad, what a resume /s/
“Does anyone have any WTF he’s talking about?”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Yes, what he said is that he has not learned one damned thing in school except how to string together some big words of which he has no clue of their meaning but he figures that the people reading this slop are even dumber than he is so they will think he actually said something. This is what passes for education now. I would bet a picture of Ben Franklin that he could not pass a seventh grade public school history test from 1956.
“He believes artists, citizen researchers, social networks, gamer designers, writers, theologians and DIYers must become help shape the poetry of science, to make it human.”

That last sentence was clearly written by someone under the influence of powerful, mind altering substances. No sane and sober person could possibly come up with that.
It sounds like he is for sending SWAT teams after coupon clippers.

I was thinking Manly P. Hall... God forbid.
Did you see Italy?

Its not just the spoiled kids of the rich. Every day, I see middle class parents subsidizing their kids in ways that allow the kids to not support themselves. 30 year olds living with their parents; grandmothers who basically buy all their grandkids' food and diapers so the mothers don't have to. Grandmothers and grandfathers who take the grandkids every weekend so their kids can go out partying on the weekend. 30-something husbands who sit at home finding themselves while their wives work. The curse of an affluent society.
“I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions.”- He studies how the change of time correlates with changes in environmental decisionmaking (i.e. changes the general view on the environment and what needs to be done to fix whatever environmental problems may be seen)
“I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting.”— I’m pretty sure there is a word missing between moderate and excessive but this seems to me to be that he tries to find ways to start social movements (i.e. community organizing) to help speed up social recognition of what he sees as environmental problems; i.e. use community organizing to get people to not “discount” the “severity” of environmental problems.
“I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving.”- creat free technologically based systems to provide information about the environment to individuals and what they can do to save any ills he sees in the environment.
In other words:
1. Find ways to pretend that those who don’t agree with his views are dumb/stuck in the past/ignorant
2. Find ways to start community organizing people behind his ideas
3. Give free resources to the organized people
