Cheating is one thing, but being accused of rape after a consensual sex event is totally another thing. Your post wrongly assumes that the two issues are legally, morally and ethically similar. From that faulty premise you derived an invalid conclusion.
I am not arguing for adultery, but I am noting that a false accusation of rape is perjury.
And I am obviously not arguing for perjury.
Isn't it ridiculous that society requires us to stipulate such things?
Society and the laws in Germany (and in most cases in America) allow great leeway for women to abuse the system (See Duke rape case.)
OTOH, Society allows men to put themselves in the position to increase the likelihood of this happening by ignoring moral borders. (See Duke rape case.)
If a guy does, in fact, go home with a girl and he goes farther than she wants him to, how are we to weigh the "evidence"....it's called "he said, she said" for a reason. If we're a progressive society to the extent we are asked to say, "gee whiz, you should believe the adulterer over the tramp" then you can't be surprised that we (and Germany) have laws that lean to the advantage (and potential abuse) of the tramp.
