I think Romney and the Koch brothers could be considered to have orchestrated this whole race, with the bros. getting Bachmann, Cain and Perry in the race to split the conservative vote and pave the way for Romney. (With only Perry an actual backup candidate to Romney.)

I wouldn't go so far as to call him a RINO or McLame lite, but his recent statements on shamnesty will pretty much sink him.

Perhaps not. But he lowered himself to the ranks of La Raza Rick Perry by calling Americans 'heartless'.

GINGRICH: No, but let me say this, John. No serious citizen who’s concerned about solving this problem should get trapped into a yes/no answer in which you’re either for totally selling out protecting America or you’re for totally kicking out 20 million people in a heartless way.

Why is it 'heartless' to ask or even force an intruder to leave?

Gingrich demonstrates that even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Newt is by far the brightest most able Republican candidate. However, his history reveals a seriously flawed character. This latter flaw eliminates him.

The current crop of candidates, both Republican and Democratic, are evidence that America is no longer a "People" but has become a mere demographic incapable of raising up good leaders.

Gingrich has not only provided the entire field with a blueprint on how to campaign around the media and how to obliterate Obama, but if he can skillfully take down Romney by highlighting his dramatically terrible political record, we will forever owe a great amount of gratitude to the former Speaker.

But you don’t mind if he uses his orator skills to go after Romney, do you?

All Romney attacks are welcome from anyone. I don’t even mind it when Obama attacks Romney.

I sure don't. I loved seeing him slap the media dirtbags around too; I found the Chris Wallace slap down most enjoyable.

Newton must have forgotten that he cast his GA delegate vote at the Miami Beach convention in 1968 for Nelson A. Rockefeller.

Also 1968, fared poorly both years; but you are right, most Americans have probably never heard of Nelson A. Rockefeller.

"trash talking everyone else? "

All you do is trash everyone else. Pull your last 300 post, I did, and check out howmany names you have called people. All they did was give their opinion and then you jump in and start with idiot, fool, stupid etc.

One of my friends here is a well qualified MD and you call her an idiot and stupid. We all get it, you hate Perry and you're have some kind of butt-munch with Cain. You don't need to enter every thread and tell us. We got it and you're sure not making friends or changing any minds.

I’d call that a fair description of Romney. If he’s falling away from that definition, it’s to the left of it.

Newt - You are correct, and I would never vote for Romney.

P.S. I would never vote for you either.

A Rockefeller Republican? Oh the irony. Nelson Rockefeller was the person who stabbed Mitt’s father, George Romney, in the back during the 1968 Republican primary race.
