>> But no, suddenly hes entitled to be president? President, for gosh sakes with zero experience or record.
I’ve got no problem with him reaching for the brass ring. He doesn’t have a history in politics, but he *does* have a solid track record *running things*. We haven’t done so well with lawyers and pols; maybe it’s time for a businessman who came up the “hard way”. Interestingly, Perry is one of those as well.
I do have a problem with *anointing* Cain in the Palin mold as the only true Conservative. There’s a lot about him that is unvetted, and some of what he says is gimmicky. I’m not a big fan of 9-9-9, for example.
However, given what I know now about the man, he’s on the short list of candidates I’d support enthusiastically, Perry being the other one.
And, come november, for me, it’s ANYONE BUT OBAMA!

Oh, I’m on board with that sentiment.
I hereby pledge to work and support any candidate against Obama even if it’s Cain.
I think my second choice right now would be Newt. He would be a fun candidate and a lot of people here seem fixated on debating skills which he has in spades.
I just worry that the vitriol going on now, mainly against Perry, a good man, a proven leader and conservative is going to divide and conquer.
