I don’t care whose ticket Cain would serve on or not. Frankly, I can’t see him as VP to anyone. I think Romney would ask Newt, I think Perry would ask Romney.
Or maybe Rudy.
My point isn’t really getting down to who would serve on some (losing) Perry ticket, it is that Cain’s pattern is very much like Bachmann’s: pay more attention to selling a book than actually building a campaign organization, treat Romney with kid gloves while going after his competitors, and help to fracture the conservative vote.
Cain is my preference of the candidates running, but he sure has the mark of someone who was nudged into the race by Romney’s men.
