He did a great deal of evil while with us. I would not find fault if someone had to kill him to stop the evil. But,are we not to love our enemies? I think that the Christian thing to do would be to wish that he found Christ before he died.
Maybe Jesus didn't mean what he said when he said, "Love your enemies." Yes, we fight against tyranny and those that would attack us, but that's different from vile hatred for them. That's one of the things Eisenhower was referring to when he said, "We are a great nation because we are a good nation. When we cease to be a good nation, we will cease to be a great nation."
Indeed. All have sinned. May his last breath been in praise of Jesus.
