My property has a fence to keep my dogs in my yard. Trust me if a coyote is in the neighborhood the fence will not keep it out and anyone who has a small dog and a fence and thinks the fence is going to keep their dog safe is deluded.... same goes for a border fence... it will keep TX ranchers cattle from water, it will not keep people who want to come here from coming over the fence or under the fence... what keeps people in prisons is not the fences, it is the guards guarding the fences, what keeps people out of the WH grounds is not the fence, people go over the fence all the time, the guards grab them and arrest them when they do...... that said, you clearly have never seen the American/Mexican border... 90% of that border is clearly not fenceable, mostly because of the terrain and the fact most of the land is privately owned..... or have conservatives gone so crazy they now think it is okay to take thousand of acres of land away from their owners, much of the land has been in families for several hundred years... Perry actually is correct, drones is the answer for the 90% that is unfenceable... the rest he does want to fence....... funny how everyone ignores that!

Please. IF all a prison needed was ‘guards’ then why waste the dollars putting up a fence. I am NOT interested in one more so called ‘compassionate’ president playing ‘god’ ignoring national security. NOBODY knows who slips into this nation and Mexico sure does control their borders. Why are we willing to be their dumping grounds. A flipping ‘drone’ is NOT going to stop anyone from coming into this nation. Northern border or southern border.

Texas has a big water problem right now and it has NOTHING to do with fences. Maybe somebody is trying to get their attention????
