“Perry is not the one who dreamed up the TTC. It was presented to him by the Tx-Dot.”

I lived in Houston then, which is, I believe Texas, and he SURE AS HELL took ownership of it and bragged and bragged about it. I remember these things, because I was probably the only Texan paying attention. If he didn’t really believe in it, as you’re attempting to imply, it wouldn’t have lasted over half a decade.

As to whether it was ever implemented...that means NOTHING regarding how STUPID it was to ever leave Perry’s desk.

“The Trans-Texas Corridor never happened - Perry put a stop to it.” In 2010...as he was facing some primary challengers. Up to then HE COULD CARE LESS what Texans thought.

“To this day, the handful of legislators in attendance at that meeting have respected Rick Perry—a man who was confident, honest, and exhibited absolute integrity to his citizens...”

Your credibility is starting to stretch here.

I’ve lived in Houston and in Katy since 1977.
I’m a born and raised Texan.

They were not my words but the words of a Texas State Representative.
