Posse Comitatus - The Act prohibits members of the Army from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

Securing our borders *is* a Federal right and responsibility. Using US troops against US citizens is against Posse Comitatus. Using them to secure our borders against an invasion is not.

Posse Comitatus does not apply in this situation.

“Posse Comitatus does not apply in this situation.”

Thanks. I figured it didn’t apply and this was simply another Romney-bot ruse to tear down Cain.
