Yea I heard that line and have responded to it several times in several different way, but I’ll simply ask you a question:
WHY THE HELL DOES HE KEEP DEFENDING IT?
All Cain has done is answered the "so what". What remains next is for someone to ask Perry just what are all those "boots on the ground supposed to do"? The answer should be the same the Cain gave (unless Perry wants to give our troops rubber bullets.)
He defended it once that I know of.
The infamous “Heartless” remark, and I have said all along I think that was an error.
He could play that card in the general election but it was a gaffe to say that in the primary.
That said, he has a SOLID track record on the issues that face America.
Because it is the law in the state of Texas and he upholds the law.
He made it perfectly clear that it was an education issue and that he would never suggest it on a National Level.
That law will probably be reversed in all the states that have it once the border is secured. It will then become mute point and a non issue.
