Did Cain actually have to add a PS to his remarks for you to get it? Like build a fence “where we can” or “on land”.

President Eisenhower proposed an interstate highway system. Would you ask him how he was going to build it over a river or a lake?

The international border between the U.S. and Mexico is the middle of the Rio Grande river. How are we going to build a fence on the Mexican side of the river when that’s not land we own or control?

Wake up.

Well, here we are several hours from my post 827 and no one has made a serious effort to address the points. Just more BS and invective. Now WHY might that be?

I’m shocked.....

Answer 827 seriously. Make the attempt and I will be happy to have a rational discussion. If you want to just fling BS, we can do that too.

“Since Jim Rob has made it clear that he will NOT support Romney or tolerate those who do, what is a Romney supporter going to do on Free Republic to help Romney get nominated?”

Tough weekend, cry baby.

You do know that immigration isn’t the only criteria for determining what is a conservative. Don’t quote me without pinging me next time. I’m sure the others you quoted when you dissed them would like to have an opportunity to tell you that you are insane too.

When a presidential candidate “jokes” about frying people and his psychophants cheer and demand that the border also be land mined then I will never ever support that. That is not a conservative position. It’s a nutcase loon position.

You are still too stupid to figure out that we need all the legal Hispanic votes we can get to beat the D’s. If you think that they will trust this flame thrower you are totally delusional.

I’m laying low. Whoever the Republican nominee is, I will vote for them, but I want them all to minimize the ammo that’s going to be used against them... take care...

That respect goes both ways. You and the anti-immigrant clique have dished it out and dished it out. I have just had enough and will call it like I see it.

I answered #827, although it was little more than emotional noise.

Here’s the answer, from #869:

I don’t identify at all with the picture you’ve drawn, and neither does Governor Rick Perry, with his history of innovative border security measures since 2001.

I’ve never been an open borders advocate. I have pointed out that the Texas border has a “moat” already - the Rio Grande. I have advocated the same thing Rick Perry has advocated repeatedly. Using Texas Rangers, DPS, local Sheriffs and Law Enforcement, and a strategically place fence. This is a much better solution that has worked where it’s been used.

Rather than an arbitrary fence, design a “no man’s land” of a road with clear line of sight along the river and facilitate frequent but irregular patrols, with agents spaced closely enough to respond - whether by auto, plane or helicopter to sensors or observers, and definitely all the force that is necessary, especially in light of the military incursions mentioned last night/this morning.

“You sound like somebody pushing for Mitt Romney to get the GOP nomination without actually admitting it on Free Republic because you know how Jim Rob feels about Romney.”

Wow. You posted a novel! Sounds like I hit a nerve!

No interpretation by any rational human being of any of my posts of over the last 11 years under any circumstances could be construed to support Romney.

In several of my posts I expressly state my opposition to Romney.

So that takes care of the blathering, foaming-at-the-mouth, delusional part of your post.

Now let’s move on to your other attempts to make a coherent argument:

“So, a “New York City slicker” is telling the Israelis and the Texans what works and what does not in the middle of the Negev Desert and in the middle of the Texas desert?”

I’m telling you Rick Perry’s record and approach to immigration sucks! But please, keep trying to sell everyone on Free Republic on the virtues of Rick Perry! I’m enjoying watching your pathetic attempts as you get mugged by reality daily.

“So, a “New York City slicker” Mitt Romney supporter is using Agitprop smear tactics, which you probably picked up from all the Communists that concentrate in New York City, to smear Perry so that your next door neighbor, Mitt Romney, can get nominated.”

You are in a little fantasy-land all your own, aren’t you? Is it fun in there? Probably like a video game wondering around in your mind, shooting at enemies you have created all by yourself! Well I can tell you its definitely entertaining watching you from out here in the real world!

“Thank you, Romney Supporter, for smearing the one conservative that had a chance to beat Romney.”

Really? Rich Perry was the “one conservative that had a chance to beat Romney”?

Really? You really think that? Wow! And *you* were the one that brought up the word “stupid”!

If Perry was the “one conservative that had a chance to beat Romney” then I guess we all just better fold it in, turn communist, and move to France, because if that’s the best we can do as a movement, we’re all screwed! Rick Perry, so far, has been, what is it they say out there “All hat and no cattle” !?!?

The reason is, as I’ve stated before:

1. Rick Perry sucks at debates.

2. Rick Perry sucks at Conservatism.

If it makes you run home and cry every time someone criticizes your hero Perry, maybe you should consider another pastime.

“And, no, Herman Cain will not beat Romney. Herman Cain is spending October hawkings books on a national Barnes & Noble book tour while leaving the serious fund-raising needed to win an election to his buddy, Mitt Romney.”

Well, we will see soon enough.

Poly’s new tactic, now that his candidate looks like a looser who a few weeks ago everyone liked, and now you can’t find a conservative that will say a kind word about him, is to accuse everyone who disagrees with him of being a “Romney Supporter.”

Because Poly has chosen to invoke Jim Robinson and start copying him on all his posts, like an elementary school child who punches a classmate and then runs behind the teacher, it would be interesting to hear Jim Robinson opine on Rick Perry’s support and subsidization of illegal aliens.

Because Poly has chosen to bring up Jim Robinson’s opinion, it would be interesting to hear his opinion of Perry’s non-conservative tactics and values.

Poly tried the same spam posting BS on the Palin threads. We all thought him daft there too. We Palinistas accepted our loss and moved on. He just needs to continue to argue things he cannot grasp well. Makes him feel good I guess...dunno.

Poly is on the wrong side of many issues. His post history is pretty telling. I’d recommend everyone familiarize themselves with it before engaging him.
