I’m from a farm, myself. Ours was all crops, though, except for chickens and my grandpop’s dogs, which went after the chickens.
I tried to get my husband to move back there to the 19th century, but he’s an electrical engineer and wasn’t having any of it. However, if we have the massive economic collapse, we could produce a lot of food on our suburban house lot, with the labor force we’ve got.
Really? 10 children in this day and age? GREAT, really. I’m the eldest of 12 and although one has died, I still consider the rest to be the best friends and support anyone could ever want. We took care of Mom too of course. Blessed children, yours.
