We could do worse. Perry has a big mountain to overcome regarding the illegal alien issue, but if he can get over it and is on the ticket, I’d vote for him.

Thanks for saying so. We Texans have quite a few burrs under our saddle with Perry, but we’re practical enough to remember the 80/20 rule.

I personally wish Cain would leave himself open..

I would NOT have to hold my nose to vote for Perry. He is not the answer to all things but no one can possibly be. Romney is not the answer to ANY thing. It’s way too early to count Perry out.

.

When the issue (in-state tuition) came before the legislature in 2001, the House (which at the time had a 78-72 Democratic majority) voted 142-1 in favor. The Senate, with a 16-15 Republican majority, voted 27-3 to pass it. (Then, Republican Governor Rick Perry signed the bill into law.)

Rick Perry stated that the drug war may require our military in Mexico

Rick Perry considers securing the border the responsibility of the govmt and has requested additional funding for years from the govmt. to secure the border without results.
He vows as POTUS to put enough boots on the ground to do.

Mr. Robingson, does the above information do anything to strengthen your support of gov Perry?
