During a presidential campaign, there's no such thing as over-sharing. Barack Obama promised to run the most transparent White House in historydisclosing donations, shunning lobbyists, and broadcasting important meetings on C-SPAN. Transition captain John Podesta reiterated the point Tuesday when he said Obama's would be "the most open and transparent transition in history."

The Nixon White House was more open.
so did bill n hill.
I'd say the former but his degree of corruption has grown exponentially since. Could be his little-man power trip but more than likely it's just his evil character.
While Baraq was primarily a hard left socialist academic, he obtained a Masters degree in “operations” from the Chicago political mob.
Those are the folks who wrote the book on political corruption, going back many decades.
“Barack Obama promised to run the most transparent White House in history....”

Where is the BC?
As long as America is not seriously asking for it and does not seem to be interested in it, it does not deserve transparency from this WH. Two can play the game.
Silly me. I thought this was going to be stinging article about how Obama is breaking his many promises about how transparant his administration would be (and from Slate no less)
But alas it’s excuse how tough it is for an administration to be transparent and the pros and cons of doing so.
Ok now it really is silly me. I didn’t realize it was from 2008.
He has, I can see see through his BS.
Wow, I sound like an illegal alien.
All the bills were going to be on the WH web site for public review...The very first bill he signed (Ledbetter?)never made it to the web site for review.
Check out this link. Many Freepers probably remember it.

REALLY BUSHS FAULT!!
From the archived web page image
Expect More.gov was an initiative of the George W. Bush administration. This website has been archived and is posted here as an historical resource. It has not been updated since the end of 2008 and links to many external websites and some internal pages will not work.
So much for Hussein transparency! This Expect More site graded All Federal Programs by department. All Thousands of them. Cant have troublemakers verify that at least half of decades-old programs got failing grades! AND WE STILL HAVE MOST OF THEM!!
Perhaps one of our patriotic White House Correspondents can ask Hussein the simple question...
WHY WAS THE WHITE HOUSE "EXPECT MORE" WEB SITE REMOVED IN LATE 2008? Just about the time the subject article of this thread was first published...
