I never said that Ellison was a generous nor thoughtful employer. But, you discount the effect of getting 40,000 up front all at once.

You could have one heck of a weekend spending spree on that...hd TVs, iphones, computers, and lots of take out.

Or you could have banked it or put in gold/silver last year and doubled your money.../SARC

Of course private business people would not be eligible for any of this funding. They are the source, through taxation, of all the money the gov spends. When you consider the impact of these hundreds of billions on a economy of 12 trillion it is less than a drop in a very large bucket. The only way the gov can support its underclass is by nationalizing all industry and corporate business.
Russia went bankrupt over such practices. China is relinquishing its grasp on business. Wherever the scheme has been tried it has failed. Of course we are the biggest and the best. It is bound to work here.
