I have said for a while that anyone who is not pushing major tax reform is not serious about solving our country’s problem and vouchsafing our future.
I honestly never thought I would see this major reform in my lifetime, though. So this is fantastic that Cain has boldly started this conversation and is forcing the other candidates to up their game as well.
My initial take on your info is that if Perry comes out with a plan similar to 999, it will boost 999 and Cain, but not Perry. Just my first reaction.
I think that Perry has the experience and money to run past Cain - but you are right - Cain has forced others to put this on the table. I would absolutely love a Perry/Cain ticket - or a Perry/Gingrich ticket. This to me, would be the best of worlds. I would also like a Perry/West ticket.
